First off, I would like to congratulate the author of such a fine freeware product. Having over 10,000 hours in the real BAE/RJ 85, I can tell you it is a magnificient piece of software, and is as close as you will get to the operations and systems of the Aircraft without crawling into the real aircraft..... I do have a question....does this addon interface with go flights MCP Pro hardware?? I can't see why it wouldn't because the Avro MCP is very close, if not identical, to the 737NG of which go flight based it's design.
One of the problems with this, and the 146 panel, is that Matthias has programmed the Autopilot using his own local variables, it's custom built for the panel.
Some functions can be controlled from the keyboard and others not. If the function can be controlled from the keyboard, then it's likely that it can be controlled from hardware as well. If not, then the hardware probably can't do it either.
mach7>Do you, or anyone else know of a RJ download that would support such a product?
Hi Mach7,
I have the GoFlight Advanced MCP and it also doesn't work with the panel. Your hardware MCP isn't aircraft but panel related. Like Adrian told, Matthias used his own variables. Until today there is no hardware MCP that is working with the panel from scratch (like standard FS aircrafts). So, it doen't matter what RJ aircraft you are using.
Until now, I haven't worked with key2mouse or mouse2key. Maybe in the near future I'll give it a try and I'll let you know. For this moment I'm too busy with my coming home-cockpit.
