I think there are some RJs that use same AP disconnect sound like that you offer with the BAe 146. So, I tried hard to replace with 146 sound sample, but in vain, as there is no such sound wav file in FS9\sound. Is it possible to replace it ? If yes, how to ? Once more I want to thank so much for the detailed systems performance of your BAe 146 panel.
the RJ panel accesses the AP Disconnect sound through the Aircraft sound config.
The .wav file in the Aircraft sound folder is caapdis.wav, you could copy the file ML-BAe146v40_APDisc.wav in the FS Sound folder to the Aircraft Sound folder and change the SOUNG.cfg to refer to this sound instead, the appropriate line is near the end of the file, entitled
OK Adrian, I added those lines in aircraft sound.cfg, and also added the .wav file to aircraft sound folder. The problem is that I can hardly hear it. I added "maximum volume value up to 20000" but is still hardly audible.
In fact I had tried already maximum_volume=20000, but this did not work. The workaround is simpler, I think. I moved FS "cockpit sounds" to 70 and it is now pretty loud. I could make it louder with a sound editor I got. Many thanks for your help !
