A couple of minutes ago I've uploaded the new BAe 146 panel version 4.0 to Avsim where it should be available in the next few hours. I've made a lot of changes after the betatest and I hope that everything works well now. I know that it is dangerous to upload such a complex panel after a lot of changes without starting a further betatest. However it's really time to release this new version now.
The BAe 146 website will also be updated in the next weeks. Then you also could download the new panel directly from my site. Until the rework of the 146 site is ready, please download the panel from Avsim. The filename is ml146v40.zip.
Please use the BAe 146 Board of this support forum if you would like to talk about the panel or if you need any support.
Hi, same for me, impossible to find your incredible panel on AVSIM (ml146v40.zip)..... Is something wrong ? Or are we needing to be patient ? Gratulieren für diese tolle Arbeit !!!! Kind regards,
Hmm, I don't know what happened here and all of you see me confused too . However I think the upload was okay because I've received a Mail from Avsim yesterday that they got my file succesfully. In the last years a file was available after about 12 - 16 hours after the upload. Seems that it now needs more than a complete day. Well, when the file isn't there this evening, I will upload it to another server. Of course I'll keep you informed.
Two minutes ago I wrote a mail to the Avsim library manager, asking him if there was anything wrong with my file. As soon as I get an answer I will inform you.
Because of the problem with Avsim, I decice to upload the file also to Flightsim.com now. Unfortunately here I know that you have to wait one day or more until the file is available.
That's all quite a bit sad, because I was always very happy with the Avsim file system.
Never mind Matthias, we'll just have to be a little more patient. I'm sure everyone else here will join me in saying that your panels are so good we don't mind a little wait at all !!
Looking forward to testing the new version, thanks ever so much for continuing your work on this great project ;)

Thanks, Mathias. It is now available on Flightsim.com. I have the original beta version of V4.0. Do I have to go through the whole installation procedure again with this release, or is there some shortcuts that we beta testers can use to just update our beta version. Thanks again for all your hard work, Mathias. I wish I was as talented as you!
About the differences to the betaversion: For the installation, you just need to replace the gauges and the panel.cfg you're using. The bitmaps, sounds and the aircraft FDE's are still the same. The manual is reworked because of some new functions. Nevertheless the most changes to the betaversion are just correction of bugs or a rework of the system (pressurization for example). Those things are not visible. The DBIs are completely new. I've realized the buttons to change the needle receiver from Nav 1 to ADF or Nav 2 to ADF. The fuel system is also quite a bit reworked.
Hope this info helps a bit and once again - thank you very much for testing the panel !!!
I've just taken her for a short test flight from LOWZ to LOWI (real STOL stuff!) and the panel is totally worth the wait Matthias! It is indeed improved from the beta version (warning system and lights work really well as does the AFGS) and I am so glad you continued working on this project. Thank you again for your fantastic work and for sharing it as freeware with us all
