today I tried out the Avro RJ85 with the ARJ Panel (patched to V4.2) on my Vista Ultimate 64bit. I recognized that the complete autopilot panel is not working, except the Flight Director Switch.
I have already checked the gauges, nothing is missing.
The autopilot and the flight director is just one gauge, so it is not a problem of a wrong installation. There could be several things responsible for a not working AP. Mostly it's an electrical problem. Please check the MWS and the caution lights in the overhead panel. All amber and red lights must be off. If an amber light illuminates, you have to check why and then you must solve the announced problem. Check also if you have switched on the two Avionic Master switches and the Autopilot Master switch in the overhead panel. A last thing to mention is that the autopilot will not work on ground.
born2fly>When setting the thrust to 45% N1 or more the EAT goes over 700° C and the FADEC system is blocking my start thrust.
700°C EGT with 45% N1 aren't the values of an ARJ. Seems that you are using the BAe 146 FDEs together with the ARJ panel. This of course could not work with my ARJ panel because the old BAe 146 has a much higher engine temperature than the newer ARJ. Could you please check if you have replaced the flightdynamics of your aiurcraft with those which are shipped with my panel? That's very important.
born2fly>Is there any download with the correct .air-file for the ARJ?
The replacement ARJ files are part of the ARJ panel. They have the same filename as the BAe 146 files but they are completely different. Both files are adapted for each special panel.
