#1 Nav1 and Nav2 will not work von nigelgrant 25.11.2007 17:25

At long last I have this wonderful panel up and working, thx Matthias for all your hard work.

I have been using the autostart and from discussions on the forum realized I still had to do some work to get rid of all the amber warning lights. I have done so by putting most switches on, particularly the generators and hydraulics, but I cannot get Nav1 and Nav2 to work - when my pointer hovers over the correct area it shows the + or -, but the numbers in the display do not change. Com1 seems to work okay. I cannot find any switches elsewhere that have not been turned on.

What to do?

Hello Nigel,

Not sure, but I think you just forgot to switch on the Avionic Master switches in the OH panel. They are placed on the upper left side beside the Autopilot and Yaw damper master switch.

I posted a message yesterday but it seems to have disappeared, maybe I wasn’t logged on.

The two Avionics switches were on so I decided to investigate further. I normally like to put gauges in their specific panel folder where they are custom for that panel, ie it makes it a lot easier uninstalling the panel without having to search through the main gauges folder to remove the panel’s gauges, and it avoids the gauges folder getting too large.

I found that somehow the two files ML-BAe146v40_Config.ini and ML-BAe146v40_Config2.ini were in both the panel and gauges folders. So I unzipped a clean set of gauges, put the two *.ini files in the gauges folder and the other gauges in the panel folder.

All is working okay now.

Thx for the panel
