#1 Overhead view problem. von gypsymoth 29.01.2008 11:33

I installed the mi1462.zip panel in my BAe1462QT_2K4 but clicking the overhead displays it on the runway side of the panel. I've not had this happen before (!) & wonder how I can rectify the problem.

Thanks,
TW

Hello TW,

The panel you are talking about is version 2.0 and very very old. I highly recommend to install a newer version. When you are still using FS2002 please install version 3.0. When you are using FS2004 please install version 4.0. Both could be found here on this website.

Best Regards

Thanks but I want to carry on with this panel as it's easy to use. I'm using FS9 & it works well except for the overhead problem. All the other windows work as they should.

I don't want a dark & cold panel. Is there a fix?

Hello TW,

Well, I don't think that the panel is the reason for the problem. I had this panel installed for a long time and no problem with the views. Also nobody else has ever posted this problem. I highly recommend to install it again but take care to use a zip file which was made by me. The file you're talking about is not my original file. Nevertheless you still could find my old version 2 on Avsim or Flightsim.com.

About the cold and dark fix:
No, there is no fix to start with running engines. This is just possible with the newer versions. Version 2 is now 6 years old. Too old to make a further update.

Best Regards
Matthias

Hi there. This panel is yours. This is from the cfg file: 0// Panel Configuration file
// BAe146 Version 2.0 for FS2002 by Matthias Lieberecht
This panel is up & running. I would get another panel but I do not want a cold & dark
one. If your new one is not cold & dark then I will, of course get it!!

The overhead problem has been fixed changing the [window02] ident to =270 and swapping the overhead icon for a clock icon. The OH now shows in front of the panel. I had help from the Simviation forum guys.
Cheers, TerryW.
