Hi Matthias. Sorry to be a pain. I have tried the red button on the APU as suggested. I have also tried CTL+E then the red button an APU, but I still can't get the engines flashed up. Are there switches I need to turn on before I can use the red button. I admit I haven't tried the extensive start up from the checklist yet, maybe I should, but I was just checking for short cuts first. Thanks John

I am having problems starting the engines. If I use the standard CTL+E, they start, but then stop again. Is there a proceder to follow to get the engines started. Is there a list of switches to throw on the Overhead Panel, before the engines can be started, or are there any short cuts, other than CTL+E Thanks John

I have downloaded the BAe 146 and have used Matthias's notes to the letter to sort out the Panel, but I am still not getting he panel up when i open the aircraft in FS2004. I have pasted below the part of the pdf file that confuses me, perhaps someone can explain it to me, as I don't understand where or what the files to be extracted to a self made back up file are. here is the part I don't understand.
Because of the complexity of this panel it was necessary to make some changes in the aircraft.cfg and airfile. I did not change the flight dynamics of Jon’s great BAe 146 but make some changes in the fuel, electric, flaps and radio section. If you are using Jon’s BAe 146 it’s very important to use the replacement files. Otherwise almost all parts of the panel don’t work as they should. The included replacement files are: Jon Murchison BAe 146-200 QT.zip Replacement FDE files for Jon’s BAe 146-200 QT (Freighter) aircraft. Jon Murchison BAe 146-200.zip Replacement FDE files for Jon’s BAe 146-200 aircraft. Jon Murchison BAe 146-300 QT.zip Replacement FDE files for Jon’s BAe 146-300 QT (Freighter) aircraft. Jon Murchison BAe 146-300.zip Replacement FDE files for Jon’s BAe 146-300 aircraft.
Before installing those files please check which of Jon Murchison’s BAe 146 you use. When I’ve finished this panel Jon had already completed the 146-200, 146-200QT, 146- 300 and 146-300QT (QT stands for quite trader – the BAe 146 freighter aircraft). Now make a backup of the already existing aircraft.cfg and the *.air file in your BAe 146 aircraft folder and unzip the correct replacement files into this folder. If you have installed some further repaints for Jon’s aircraft please don’t forget to add them once again in the aircraft.cfg.
Forget this request folks, I have solved the proble. John
